We are proud to announce the winning tracks of the Beatmaker Tracks Season # 4 contest, supported by Akai Professional!
1. Mrklx – Twins
2. PrWx1o0 – Windee
3. Tsi – Oktarium
All other major platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Beatport, Spotify, Deezer, etc. will follow in about two weeks!
This time the winners were selected by jury votes, since there was no obligation to submit the track via soundcloud. The criteria the jury had to judge the entries on were e.g.: progression / feel / creativity / arrangement / quality of production.
The first place goes to MRKLX a talented and young producer from Vienna. With his massive Future Bass/ EDM track he caught our attention right away. Not only is the track “Twins” nicely produced, it also hits the Zeitgeist very well. Just the right tune to get you guys going for the summer. Enjoy this banging beat and look out for MRKLX in the future. We are sure there is more greatness to come. Congrats again and have fun with the Akai Professional MPD232.
The second place and the Akai Professional TOM CAT goes to PrWx100, also known as DJ Wax 865, who has submitted this monster of a beat. “Windee” a futuristic, nonetheless classy Hip Hop vibe track. We like to think that even J Dilla would have been proud of this one. Nice take on this beat Mr. PrWx100!
And the third place goes to TSI a very active and productive Beatmaker from Vienna who always convinces with his tracks. “Okatrium” is a glitchy somewhat experimental Electronica tune that stood out the most in regards to creativity and new take on a track. Listen for yourself, sink in and get carried away! Big up Tsi!
Also big thanks to all the other artists who took part in our contest! Lots of promising and talented beatmaker out there. That´s great.
See you guys soon for the release party at celeste, Sa. 04.06.2016!! more info HERE.
“With the intention to support and challenge artists we set up this competition. It should give them the chance to present themselves to a bigger audience.
We like to deliver a wide range of music to our followers. This is mainly up to the beatmakers submitting tracks and their own interpretation of “the Future of Music”.
The likes and tastes vary. We are glad that a mixture of music is happening! Looking forward to more great music!
Please send feedback, positive and/or negative to info[at]beatmakersessions.eu! Your feedback is appreciated!”
